Utah's Trail County - Sevier County
Sevier County in the heart of South Central Utah is known as Utah’s Trail Country. Located in Trail Country is the world-famous Paiute ATV Trail with over 2,000 miles of off-road adventures. The trail system is considered one of the top off-road motorized trail networks in the world. Richfield is the largest city in central Utah and provides a great basecamp for outdoor recreationists. Fremont Indian State Park, located 20 miles southwest of Richfield, is the site where the largest community of Fremont Indians lived more the 1,000 years ago. The visitor center museum has thousands of artifacts from the area on display. Fish Lake, Utah’s largest natural lake, is a hotbed for fishing, hiking, biking, and camping. This beautiful alpine lake sits at 8,800 feet in elevation and in the perfect spot for cool off in the summer.
Come find your trail at the annual “Trail Days” event every August. Race your bike at the Rooster Valley Ride, run with your relay team at the Fish Lake Relay, ride your horse at the FishLake Tasha Campground, ride your motorcycle across the beautiful Scenic Byways or ride your ATV/UTV on the many trails that are part of the Paiute Trail system. Attend the airport fly-in and a car show. Play golf in the Trail Days 2 person scramble and visit the many art and food booths at the Richfield City Park.
